The new chip also features a new generation of 11-core GPU Immortalis-G715, which has a performance that is 32% higher than the previous generation. Additionally, the single-core performance of the CPU is improved by 12%, while the multi-core performance is enhanced by 10% compared to Density 9000.
The Dimensity 9200 comprises one super-large core Cortex X3 3.05GHz, three large-core Cortex A715 2.85GHz, and four small-core Cortex A510 1.8GHz. The AnTuTu running score exceeds an impressive 1.2 million.
Furthermore, the Immortalis-G715 GPU of the Dimensity 9200 supports mobile hardware ray tracing technology, which enables the rendering of physical light and shadow effects comparable to the real world in mobile games. This feature is set to provide players with an even more immersive visual experience.
For instance, the protagonist’s shadow is mapped onto an ancient building in a game. With the help of mobile ray tracing technology, players can more clearly estimate the distance between the two and even see an enemy approaching silently through the reflective tiles in ruins.
