Igeekphone News, August 6th: Tonight, DJI’s first series of robot vacuum cleaners, DJI ROMO, was officially launched, including three models: ROMO P, ROMO A, and ROMO S. Among them, the most entry-level DJI ROMO S robot vacuum cleaner (water tank version) starts at 4,699 yuan.
When this sweeping robot was exposed before, it attracted attention because of its unique transparent base station.
ROMO P adopts a transparent robot and transparent base station design. It is the only transparent base station in the industry, combining minimalist aesthetics and precise mechanical texture, which can enhance the home style. ROMO A is a transparent robot paired with a white base station, while ROMO S is a white robot and a white base station.
The entire series is equipped with the same obstacle avoidance system as the flagship drone, featuring dual-eye fisheye vision sensors and three wide-angle solid-state lidars. It can accurately identify wires with a diameter of over 2 millimeters and obstacles with a diameter of over 15 millimeters, even accurately recognizing playing cards on the ground, achieving millimeter-level obstacle avoidance.
With a suction power of up to 25,000 Pa and a specially optimized air duct design, it can thoroughly remove dust from crevices. It adopts a 0-winding double roller brush, which can handle extremely long hair and large particles of garbage.
Equipped with flexible dual mechanical arms, combined with real-time maps and fitting algorithms, it achieves 100% thorough cleaning without any blind spots, easily sweeping corners, table legs and other areas.
The on-board 164-milliliter large water tank supports continuous wet mopping to remove heavy dirt. In the sweeping and mopping integrated mode, when the clean water tank is full of water, it can clean approximately 200 square meters.
The base station pioneered high-pressure hot water flushing technology. The base station mop tray is maintenance-free for 200 days. Combined with high-temperature drying function, it eliminates accumulated dirt and odors from the source. It is the first to create a triple soundproof chamber. The noise during dust collection is approximately 65dBA, and during drying, it is about 40dBA, avoiding disturbing family members.
ROMO P supports both decontamination and antibacterial cleaning liquids, which can specifically clean oil stains and pet areas. The entire series is equipped with A clear water tank silver ion module and a robot dust box drying function. ROMO P also features a dust bag UV sterilization and a sewage tank deodorization module. ROMO A and S can be optionally equipped with a sewage tank deodorization module, with an antibacterial rate exceeding 99.95%.
