Chinese smartphone maker Doogee has announced the DOOGEE S95 Rugged smartphone with MediaTek Helio P90 on a 6.3-inch display. DOOGEE S95 Pro is one of the most interesting armored smartphones of recent months, which combines a modular design, good specification and camera with the main camera of 48 MP. DOOGEE S95 will be even cheaper. It will be sold on Chinese e-commerce sites and is currently accepting pre-orders, and will be priced at $300 or less.
DOOGEE S95 looks identical to the Pro model, it also supports replaceable modules. It will provide resistance to IP68, IP6K and MIL-STD-810G, and the screen protected by Gorilla Glass 4 has a 6.3-inch diagonal, Full HD + resolution, 19: 9 aspect ratio and 600 nit brightness. Inside was the Helio P90 chip, supported by 6 GB of RAM. This is the first difference – there is 8 GB in the Pro version. For this we get 128 GB of internal memory. Another difference concerns the camera. The DOOGEE S95 Pro uses the Sony IMX562 matrix, in the basic model it will be according to the announcement from doogee.cc sensor Samsung ISOCELL GM1 with 48 Mpix resolution, i.e. the same one found in Ulefone Armor 7, with f / 1.8 optics. This is not 100% certain, because in another place (e.g. on Instagram) the manufacturer states that it will still be Sony IMX562. The other two matrices have a resolution of 8 Mpix + 8 Mpix. The camera will allow 10x digital zoom, it also has a 120-degree wide-angle lens.
Other technical data will apparently be the same as in the Pro version. The 5150 mAh battery will support 10W wireless charging. The pre-announced the price in advance sale. The regular price will be USD $359.99, but in the special offer DOOGEE S95 Rugged smartphone, it will cost USD $2?9.99. What this question mark means can only be guessed.
