On July 16th, according to the German technology media WinFuture, the complete specifications of the two models of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 series have been leaked.
The standard version and the Ultra version will be officially released on July 22nd and go on sale on August 5th. Judging from the parameters, this generation has significant upgrades in terms of slimness and imaging.

Standard version: 7.6-inch internal screen, weighing only 201 grams
The standard version of Galaxy Z Fold8 has a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display on the inner screen, with a resolution of 2448×1848 and a ratio of approximately 4:3; the outer screen is 5.5 inches, with a resolution of 1248×1972. Both screens support 120Hz high refresh rate. In terms of imaging, it has a rear 50-megapixel main camera + 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle dual camera, and each screen has a 10-megapixel front camera. The core configuration is the Snapdragon 8 Ultra Edition for Galaxy chip, starting from 12GB + 256GB, with the maximum configuration of 16GB + 1TB. The battery capacity is 4800mAh and it supports 45W fast charging. The body size is 161.4×123.9×4.5mm, and the weight is only 201 grams. It is IP48 waterproof and dustproof, and comes in four colors: graphite, cream, lavender, and pistachio.

Ultra version: 8-inch large screen + 200 million pixel main camera
The internal screen of the higher-end Z Fold8 Ultra measures 8 inches with a resolution of 2504×2256; the external screen is 6.5 inches with a resolution of 2520×1080, also featuring a 120Hz Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel. The camera upgrade is significant: the main camera has a 200-megapixel sensor, supporting OIS optical stabilization and an F1.7 aperture; the ultra-wide-angle camera has 5 million pixels; the telephoto camera has 1 million pixels, supporting 3x optical zoom and OIS. Both the front and rear cameras are 1 million pixels. The performance is the same as the standard version, but the storage specification is LPDDR5X + UFS 4.0. The battery capacity is 5000mAh and it supports 45W fast charging. When unfolded, the thinnest part is only 4.1mm and the overall weight is 218 grams.
Based on the disclosed specifications, the Samsung Z Fold8 series continues its dual flagship strategy: The standard version focuses on a slim and comfortable feel, weighing only 201 grams, almost on par with the flagship models with a single-screen design; The Ultra version, on the other hand, continues to push the boundaries in terms of screen size and imaging capabilities, featuring an 8-inch internal screen and a 2-billion-pixel main camera, which has few rivals in the foldable screen market.

The battery life of the Galaxy Z Fold8 series has been improved by over 20%. According to the data from the EU EPREL, the overall battery life of the Galaxy Z Fold8 reaches 49 hours and 10 minutes, while that of the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra reaches 51 hours.
