Usually a 4K SportCam is around $300 USD without accesories and that’s was the rule, yes it was until Furibee, a new kid in town move to the neighborhood showing off its new model, the Furibee H9R capable of recording at 4K videos, but the crazy thing it’s that for just 10% of the price of the known brand, even include all the accessories you need to start filming your adventures. That’s madness!
Design
Has a construction that remembers a GoPro, made from plastic, crystal and other materials, in the outside has a rubberized coating for better grip. The only color available is black, at this moment. In the back there’s a two inches display, at front the camera sensor and power/mode button. Other three buttons are present, on top the one for recording and the other two are located at the right side, use it for navigate the menu and zooming. In the left side you could find the ports.

Features
First, lets talk about the barely known Sunplus 6350 chipset paired with a 12MPx sensor (Omnivision), the same models as the SJCAM SJ4000 or SJCAM M10. With a few tweks is able to shot 4K videos @25fps, but we think you would get better results recording at 1080p or 720p.
There are three recording modes; picture, timelapse and video. Picture mode, take photos up to 12mpx. Timelapse mode, continuous photos 0.5-60 seconds timer. Video mode, shot 4K – FHD – HD videos, if you want to record in slow motion chose HD for better quallity.
The Furibee H9R has a Wi-Fi hotspot mode, need it when you want to control the camera using your smartphone, just download “iSmart DV” in Play Store or iTunes and follow the instructions.
Review
Before talking about the picture quality there’s something importan or you should consider before buying a “generic” sport cam, the battery. Thankfully, the H9R has the same body as the SjCAM models, so it share the same battery, this gives you peace of mind that you would find spare batteries.
The results are Ok in the right light conditions, it is also important to know that the Furibee H9R 4K is not a mid-high-range camera, and it has deficiencies in sensor resolution, saturated colors, and stabilization, practically nonexistent in this model and will become annoying depending on the activity performed.
In short, if you are looking for a first sports camera to record your adventures or travel and have a large set of accessories included, it may be more than enough, but always taking into account that it is not a high-performance model.
