Igeekphone News, December 11th: Source Evan Blass posted a tweet on the X platform yesterday (December 10th), sharing a certification document from US carrier Verizon, which for the first time revealed some core specifications of the Google Pixel 10a phone.
According to leaked certification information, the Pixel 10a will feature a 6.3-inch FHD+ plastic AMOLED display, supporting refresh rates of 60Hz and 120Hz.
In terms of the imaging system, this model may be equipped with a 48-megapixel main camera (f/1.7 aperture), a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.2 aperture), and a 13-megapixel front camera (f/2.2 aperture).

In addition, the new device is expected to be equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. It does not support memory card expansion and will be built with a 5100mAh large-capacity battery.
Confusingly, all the hardware parameters exposed this time are exactly the same as those of the current Pixel 9a. Given that Google has often been conservative in hardware upgrades in the past, this configuration could indeed become the ultimate solution for the Pixel 10a.
However, the media also pointed out that operators often used data from previous generations of models as placeholders in the early certification stage, so the authenticity of these parameters cannot be determined at present. Furthermore, the document also confirms that the device supports the LTE Cat 19 network standard.

The product description in the certification document marks the model code as “STA5”, corresponding to the internal code “Stallion” (stallion) previously discovered by Android Authority.
The description emphasizes that STA5 is “the only phone independently developed and designed by Google, aiming to offer users a Google AI experience at an outstanding price.” The media’s interpretation holds that This emphasizes the deep participation and control over the process from design, engineering to manufacturing, which can be regarded as Google’s further promotion of self-developed design, indicating that the Pixel 10a will continue the market positioning of this series as an “affordable AI phone”.
