Igeekphone News, September 2nd: Tech media notebookcheck published a blog post yesterday (September 1st), sharing a set of code screenshots and revealing the relevant specification information of Google Pixel 10a, which is expected to be released in 2026.
In terms of the chip, according to the exposed code details, the Pixel 10a does not adopt the new-generation Tensor G5 of the Pixel 10 series, but is equipped with the same Tensor G4 chip as the Pixel 9 series.

In terms of storage, the Pixel 10a is expected to continue using the UFS 3.1 standard instead of the UFS 4.0 commonly found in current mid-to-high-end models. Although UFS 3.1 can still meet daily usage requirements, both its read and write speeds and energy efficiency lag behind the new generation of standards. Meanwhile, this device has also removed the dedicated telephoto camera, while the standard version of Pixel 10 just added this feature this year.

In terms of system functions, the Pixel 10a will lack Google’s latest edge-side AI feature Magic Cue, which can provide real-time contextual information during calls and chats. However, its screen brightness is expected to increase from 2000 nits of the Pixel 9a to 2200 nits, improving outdoor visibility.
