About a month ago, Google introduced the Pixel 6 series high-end phones, further revealing that the brand’s premium devices would officially launch in a couple of months. Now, Google has published the first announcement for the upcoming Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
The 30-second video teaser, which bears the tagline “For All You Are,” shows the actual device without rendering for the first time. The video highlights the new elements of the Android 12 user interface. Ask viewers “What if smartphones weren’t just smart?” and “What if your phone recognized you for who you are?

Google doesn’t show the phone’s screen, but the trailer shows that the bottom bezel of the device is slightly thicker compared to the other three sides. There is also a shot of someone lifting the Pixel 6 Pro model upside down in gold. This is the first time that a live model of the smartphone has been shown instead of render.
There is also a scene of people holding the Pixel 6 in different color variants: Pixel 6 Pro in gold, Pixel 6 Pro in white, Pixel 6 in green / teal, and Pixel 6 in orange.
The company highlights three aspects of the Pixel 6 line: learning, evolution, and adaptation. It shows off Google’s custom processor and considers the upcoming phones to be “the first-ever, all from Google.” It also sheds some light on Android 12’s Material You layout and Dynamic Color theme support.
Rumors have it that the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will hit the market at the end of October. According to the latest information, pre-orders for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will begin on Tuesday, October 19th – and the market launch will take place on Thursday, October 28th. It is not known whether pre-orders will start on the day of the event – October 19th.
