We know the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are on the way, but we’re still waiting to hear details on many of the phone’s specs. The latest tip from the rumors suggests that 33W fast charging is on the table for upcoming flagships.
That’s according to a source in contact with 91mobiles: a lot of 33W chargers have apparently been seen at Google headquarters, with the suggestion that they are being used to test the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.
Additionally, Google has decided to remove the charger from the retail packaging. This choice will certainly have environmental but also economic reasons for the manufacturer. Furthermore, in this way Big G aligns itself with what has been done by all the main technological brands.
Looking at the possible technical specifications, the Pixel 6 will be powered by a Tensor chipset, the official name of the SoC formerly known as Whitechapel. Architecturally, we expect many similarities to Samsung’s Exynos family and performance similar to a Snapdragon 870.
There will also be news for the photographic sector of the two devices will be different between the two devices. Pixel 6 will be able to count on a dual camera while the Pro variant on three optics including a 4x telephoto lens.
