HTC is reportedly working on a phone dubbed “Imagine Life” – aka HTC U12 Life (U12’s code name was Imagine). We saw the same move last year with the U11 Life, a mid-range phone that borrowed some elements from the U11 flagship, but the name was more for marketing than actual flagship features.
The screen will have a diagonal of 6 inches and a full HD resolution (2160 × 1080 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 18: 9. The U12 Life will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage plus room for a microSD card, 16- and 5-megapixel cameras at the back with a 13-megapixel unit up front, a fingerprint sensor, NFC chip, dual SIM potential and a 3,600mAh battery. Connectivity is guaranteed by the 802.11ac WiFi modules, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, and LTE. The battery has a capacity of 3,600 mAh. It will likely run Android 8.1 Oreo. This phone might also be a part of the Android One program like its predecessor.
According to these leaks, the HTC U12 Life date of launch is not yet revealed, Similarly, guessing the price of the phone will be too early, but we can suggest an approximate price tag considering the upgrades and specs. We believe that U12 LIfe price will be somewhere around $349.
