The EMUI 10 system is based on Android Q (Android 10.0), which was announced at the Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) last year. Among them, the P30 series first began beta testing, and then expanded to Mate 20 and so on.
In September last year, the stable version of EMUI 10 was completed, and it will be carried by new machines and pushed to old machines. Huawei plans to complete the coverage of access equipment within this year.
In recent years, Huawei has been updating the Android bottom layer very quickly. According to foreign media reports, EMUI 11 will be developed based on Android 11 R, which is expected to be announced for the first time at the Huawei HDC 2020 conference in March.
The message also lists the stock equipment that can be upgraded to EMUI 11:
- Mate product line: Mate 30 series, Mate 20 series, Mate X
- P series product line: P30 series, P20 series
- Nova product line: Nova 6 series, Nova 5 series
- Tablet: MatePad, MediaPad M6
- Honor (Magic 4 system): Honor V30, Honor V20, Honor 20, Honor 9X
Of course, this list is for reference only, given the progress of the development. According to the regular progress, the official version of EMUI 11 should be launched on the Mate 40 in the fall.
