Huawei Mate 30’s Super Fast 30W Wireless Charger Just Passed the FCC

We have already mentioned that the Huawei Mate 30 would probably have a support feature for ultra-fast 25W wireless charging. Today, Huawei’s new wireless charger (CP61), capable of providing this high-speed charging, has just been seen at the FCC. The certification site confirms that THE next wireless charger OF Huawei’s can support charging output up to 30W.

While 30W is still higher than what we reported yesterday, it seems that the actual loading speed may be lower than the maximum speed mentioned in the document. The information in the FCC reveals that the 30W charging output claimed by the charger does not meet the tests. So, it is possible that the wireless charging speed will be around 25W, which is the value released yesterday.

Today Xiaomi has the fastest charger on a commercial smartphone with its 20W wireless charging cradle for the Mi 9. Now that Huawei’s new CP61 charger has been seen at the FCC, we expect the new wireless charger to be launched alongside the new Mate 30 line.

Rumors surrounding the Huawei Mate 30 Pro revealed that it will have a 6.71-inch screen supporting QHD + resolution and an on-screen fingerprint scanner. The next Kirin 985 chipset is expected to team both Mate 30 and Mate Pro 30 Pro. SoC can be assisted by up to 12GB of RAM. The Mate 30 Pro can house a 4200mAh battery that can come with 55W quick charge support.

A more recent information leak revealed that the Mate 30 Pro will be equipped with an f / 1.6 to f / 1.4 40MP variable aperture 1/1 ”RYYB sensor, another 1 / 1.7” sensor 40MP lens and 120-degree field of view with cine lens capabilities and a telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom support.

Rumors abound and claim that the Mate 30 Pro will be equipped with a quad-camera system. So the fourth sensor should be a 3D ToF (Time of Flight) sensor. Huawei can announce a 5G version of the Mate 30 pro. The Mate 30 series is expected to be official in October.
