It only starts in 2 months about Huawei P9 smartphone release, Huawei can’t wait to the next flagship, Huawei Mate 9. Earlier before, Huawei Mate 9 has leaked to feature HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset with dual camera. It’s most exciting that they will launch Huawei Mate 9 in September, 2016 same month with Iphone 7. It seems a hot war will start.
It’s known that Kirin 955 chipset has not released so long just in 2 months in Huawei P9 smartphone, Huawei announce its next chipset, Hisilicone Kirin 960. Kirin 960 is composed of Artemis quad core+ A53 quad core ,Artemis belongs to ARM core architecture, a new generation whose performance is ahead of the current top-of-the-line A72 architecture. Kirin 960 is integrated with Mali-T880 MP8 GPU, LTE Cat.12, 16nm process. In addition, Huawei Mate 9 will have dual curve screen, two 20MP back cameras, which is the first dual back camera top smartphones. It’s said Huawei mate 9 will use its own OS. But we are not sure if it’s true.
It’s said Huawei Mate 9 will support Google Daydream VR. In May, Google starts I/O 2016 conference, in order to speed up Smartphone VR, Google release Daydream VR platform. And Huawei has joined this platform and plans to release the phone VR that can support Google Daydream, So we guess it will be Huawei Mate 9. And it will have at least 2k screen resolution according to Google Daydream.
As for Huawei mate 9 price, and other configuration, we still have no idea, so will this smartphone use its own Hisilicon OS and support VR headset. Just wait until September.
