Despite the P series and Mate series and Huawei’s two major flagship series, the company recently launched the foldable smartphone line under the Mate brand, and the phones have been called Huawei Mate X and Mate Xs. In addition to the Mate 40 series, the company may release another foldable smartphone, which will be called the Huawei Mate X2 this year.
