Huawei Mate X has been receiving attention since its release in February. Despite the previous statement that it may be delayed, according to information disclosed by insiders on Weibo, Huawei Mate X will officially debut on June 24th. As for the price concerned, no specific information was disclosed.
Previously, there was a report that Huawei’s OS; Hongmeng will be released on June 24 and Mate X will be equipped with Huawei’s self-developed operating system. Although the report has been confirmed to be a rumor, Huawei Mate X is likely to be available on June 24, and there are reports that the Huawei Tablet M6 series will be released.
As the first folding phone launched by Huawei, Mate X has the biggest advantage compared with Samsung Galaxy Fold. It has a thickness of only 11mm and the front and back camera combination also complements the folding screen design and does not appear like Samsung. In addition, Mate X is equipped with a 4500mAh battery with 55w super fast charging technology and it is featured with a 40MP Leica camera with using the same sensor like the Huawei P30 series.
Huawei Mate X also has a side mounted fingerprint sensor, it is powered by Kirin 980 processor and integrated Balong 5000 chip and takes advantage of the 2G/3G/4G/5G network and SA&NSA networking. But currently, Mate X is only available in 8GB + 256GB storage combination in only Star Blue color.
According to a previous report, the number of Huawei Mate X stocks in the Chinese market is 100,000, which exceeds the number of Samsung Galaxy Fold stocks which is about 70,000 in China. However, the relevant 3C certification and network access license information have not yet been queried and the 5G network has not yet been commercialized in China, so it may be possible on June 24th.
At present, Huawei Mate X has appeared on Huawei’s consumer website. As for the price of this phone, it may be around 13,999 yuan. As for the confirmation of the all above reports, we need to wait until June 24.
