Huawei Matebook X Notebook Officially Releases in China


Since Huawei held press conference for new products in Berlin, Germany, today Huawei has officially released three Matebook in China, Huawei Matebook X, aiming at light, thin and portable, competing with Macbook, Huawei matebook D, a 15.6 inch notebook, aiming at office work and videos entertainment, and Huawei matebook E, 2in1 notebook, competing with Surface. In press conference, Huawei COO has first released Huawei Matebook X, which is smaller than an A4 paper with 13 inch size.

Huawei Matebook X adopts metal unibody, 12.5mm thickness, 1.05KG weight,  20% thinner than Apple MacBook Pro, it uses CNC cutting,  anodizing technology, available for golden, grey, rose golden, three colors. In addition, Huawei Matebook X adopts 2K high definition display, up to 100% SRGB color gamut, 1000:1 contrast, covered by Corning Gorilla glass on the surface, up to 88% screen to body ratio, 4.4mm ultra-thin bezel.

It’s power button adopts 2in1 design with fingerprint scanner, when you press the power button, it can unlock the notebook, as for specs, Huawei Matebook X is powered by Intel 7th Core i7-7500U/I5-7200 U processor, 8GB LPDDR3 RAM 512GB PCI-E SSD.

The keyboard has same color as the body, supporting water-splashing, meanwhile, it cooperates with Dolby, Huawei Matebook  has become the first notebook to use Dolby Atmos.

As for battery life, according to its official, it can support up to 10 hours video playing, in OS, Huawei Matebook X is preinstalled Windows 10 OS, right now price has been unveiled, Huawei Matebook X i5+4GB+256GB sells at 6,988 yuan, $1164, i5+8GB+256GB version at 7,899 yuan, $1316, i5+8GB+512GB at 8,988 yuan, $1498, and i7+8GB+512GB at 9,988 yuan, $1664.
