Igeekphone News, August 14th: Huawei officially announced today that the new generation of MatePad Air will be released on August 15th.
Just like the newly announced MatePad 11.5S, the appearance of the new MatePad Air also remains the same as its predecessor. It is expected that the main upgrade will be the processor.

Last year’s MatePad Air 2024 model was equipped with the Kirin 9000W processor. The new model should still be the Kirin 9 series flagship processor.

At the same time, a soft light version is provided, featuring a Yunxi soft light screen, which reduces environmental interference light by 99% and increases the screen’s light transmittance to 95%.

The tablet weighs as little as 555g and is as thin as 5.9mm. It features a dual rear camera setup of 13 million pixels +8 million pixels and an 8 million pixel front camera.
The slim body is equipped with a 10100mAh large-capacity battery, supporting 66W fast charging and enabling 14 hours of local video playback. It is Huawei’s tablet with the strongest battery life.
