Huawei officially launched the smartphone Nova 4e in China. The phone with a front camera with 32MP and a triple camera on the back is expected to come in this country as P30 Lite on the market.
The Huawei Nova 4e runs on a Kirin 710 chip and is available in 4GB or 6GB RAM variants. Both are equipped with 128GB of memory. This can be expanded by a memory card. The IPS display is 6.15 inches tall and has a resolution of 2312 x 1080 pixels. The display shows a drop-shaped Notch, in which the front camera is housed. This resolves at 32MP and has an f / 2.0 aperture.
On the back, the Nova 4e has a triple camera. The main sensor offers 24MP and sits behind a wide-angle lens with f / 1.8. There is also an ultra wide-angle lens with an 8MP sensor. The third camera with 2MP provides the depth of field information. As usual with Huawei, the camera is supported by Artificial Intelligence and can automatically detect various shooting scenarios and optimize the photos.
The dual-SIM smartphone also has a fingerprint sensor on the back. In addition to a USB-C port, there is also a phone jack on the Huawei Nova 4e. The battery of the smartphone is 3240mAh and supports 18-W fast charging technology. The phone with a glass back is 159.9 x 72.7 x 7.4mm and weighs 159 grams. It runs on Android 9 Pie and EMUI 9.
In China, the Nova 4e can be pre-ordered now. With 4GB of RAM, the smartphone cost is 1999 yuan (about $297). For the variant with 2299 yuan 6GB of RAM Huawei requires a good $350. It will be available in China on March 28th.
Since the Nova 3e was launched in Europe as the P20 Lite, it is expected that this new smartphone will be launched in Europe as the P30 Lite. Huawei presents the new P30 (Pro) officially on March 26 at an event in Paris.
