Although Huawei is going through the worst time in the company’s history with the US ban, the company is not giving up on launching new devices. The Huawei has confirmed that it will launch smartphones series Nova 5 to 21 June in China.
Now, before the release, the protective cover of the Nova 5 has been revealed online by Slashleaks and shows us that the smartphone will feature a water drop shape on top of the screen. It also suggests that the phone has a fingerprint sensor on the screen, as there is no cutout for the traditional fingerprint sensor.
The information leak also shows that the phone will come with four camera sensors arranged vertically on the back panel along with an LED flash. The camera module in the phone is placed in the upper left corner. Shortly thereafter, Huawei Nova 5’s tempered glass was also revealed online, which also revealed that the phone will have a notch in the center of the screen.
Suggest a minimum of frames around the display. At the same time, a render of the Huawei Nova 5 Pro shows us its back panel. This confirms the configuration of the quad camera for an improved camera experience. There is also no fingerprint sensor mounted on the back and will probably house a fingerprint sensor on the screen.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Nova 5 is expected to be equipped with the company’s Kirin 810 octa-core chipset, while the Nova 5 Pro is expected to contain the Kirin 980 chipset. The Nova 5i, on the other hand, is expected to come equipped with the Kirin 710 octa-core processor. The Huawei P20 Lite (2019), which was recently released in Europe, is expected to come as Huawei Nova 5i.
In conjunction with the smartphones in the Nova series, the Chinese smartphone maker will also launch the Huawei M6 tablet in the launch event. To know the details of prices and availability of all these devices, we will have to wait until the official launch event in China, which will be held on June 21.
