At 15:30 this afternoon, Huawei held a new product conference for the winter of 2021 on time. The first one to be unveiled was Huawei’s first vertical folding flagship — Huawei P50 Pocket.
P series has always been a perfect combination of science and technology aesthetics and intelligent images, and now Huawei P50 Pocket makes a breakthrough again.
Huawei P50 Pocket adopts a 6.9-inch foldable display, with four sides basically equal width, and a screen ratio of 21:9, which is exactly the same as the ratio of blockbusters commonly used in cinemas. When watching movies, immersive experience without black edges can be achieved.
The display quality is also outstanding, with 442ppi, 1.07 billion colors and P3 wide gambit color management, smart refresh rate up to 120Hz, ultra-high touch sampling rate at 300Hz, and 1440Hz PWM dimming.
In terms of folding technology, Huawei P50 Pocket realizes a new generation of droplet hinge, which can make the multi-dimensional linkage lifting under the screen lift the structure when unfolded and fall back when folded, realizing a perfect seamless folding form and almost perfectly hiding creases.

In terms of core configuration, Huawei P50 Pocket is equipped with snapdragon 888 4G processor. Under Hongmeng Intelligent Communication, it can support four-network collaboration (Wi-Fi 6 2.4ghz, Wi-Fi 6 5GHz, main card 4G and sub-card 4G), built-in 4000mah large-capacity battery, and supports 40W Huawei super fast charge.
Huawei P50 Pocket runs the latest version of HarmonyOS, which, in addition to supporting previous franchised stores, has added innovative delivery with the external screen, enabling users to operate major functions such as notifications, schedules, music, weather, and payments without having to open them.
