Huawei P50 series flagship has launched in China earlier this year, but the company took the time to provide details of the global launch. Now, the company has released more information, and it looks like we will have to wait a long time.
The company told the media during the Huawei Nova 9 briefing that the P50 family would not be launched globally until next year. A representative said in response to an Android Authority question that the phones would be released “early next year”.
Still, this delay means Huawei is pushing its Huawei P50 series closer to the P60 launch window – if the company is actually planning a P60 launch next year. But even without the release of the P60 series, the delay means the P50 series will be going up against the next-gen flagships with new chipsets and features.
We remind you that both Huawei P50 models have the same 50MP f / 1.8 main camera sensor with OIS support. The Pro model also has an ultra-wide 13MP f / 2.2 sensor, a black and white 40MP f / 1.6 sensor, and a 64MP f / 3.5 periscope sensor that comes with OIS support and a digital zoom of up to 2700mm.
The regular P50 also has a periscope sensor, but this is the 12MP f / 3.4 one with OIS support. This model has an ultra-wide 13MP sensor, while both phones have a 13MP front camera. The P50 has a 4100mAh battery, while the Pro version has a 4360mAh battery, and both support 66W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Both have stereo speakers and are IP68 certified.
It is a real top of the range in all respects, complete and performing from every point of view. This makes the expectation that separates us from launching within the European borders even greater. We will talk about it again as soon as we have more information about the Huawei P50 series.
