Today Xiaomi started selling the 12.5” Mi Notebook Air in flash sale and all pieces where sold out in a very short time. The company however had a surprise for the today buyers, offering them a free custom laser engraving in a total of 19 service centers.
First time that Xiaomi offered free engraving services where back in 2014 at their Beijing service center. Now, the company has 19 stores that can offer this service. I guess if someone of our readers where one of the lucky to buy it today, it should be easier to get your device engraved. For now, the company is providing only text engraving.
Mi Notebook Air 12.5” as we remember, has 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD, Intel-Core M3 processor and can offer up to 11 hours of battery life. It is light and thin, just 1.07 kg and with a thickness of 12.9mm. However, it doesn’t have the NVIDIA graphics card like its bigger brother and has only one USB 3.0 port.
Mi Notebook Air 12.5” sells for 3499 Yuan ($527).
