Igeekphone June 10th: Today, Insta360 released Luna Ultra, the world’s first 8K Leica dual-camera pan-tilt camera. The starting price is 3,999 yuan.
Luna Ultra is equipped with a dual Leica Summicron optical lens system. The main camera uses a 1-inch 8K sensor and supports 8K 30fps Dolby Vision video and 4K 120fps slow-motion video shooting.

The other one is a 1/1.3-inch telephoto lens, which can achieve a micro single-level natural bokeh effect. It supports the highest 12x zoom and 6x lossless zoom, covering five common focal lengths, and can meet the shooting needs in various scenarios such as daily recording, portrait photography, and travel.
In terms of performance, Luna Ultra is the industry’s first to adopt an AI triple-chip configuration. It is equipped with two professional imaging chips, which can effectively reduce image noise and restore a purer night scene. At the same time, it is equipped with a Qualcomm 4nm flagship chip, providing stronger computing power and better energy efficiency ratio.
In terms of interactive experience, Luna Ultra is the industry’s first to feature a detachable video transmission remote control screen, which supports high-definition video transmission over a distance of 20 meters and full control of the camera.

The remote control screen is also equipped with an independent wireless microphone, which enables clear audio reception over a long distance.
In addition, Luna Ultra is the first in the industry to feature a first-person head-following module. After users wear the exclusive head-following accessories, the gimbal and the lens can precisely follow the direction of head movement, enabling hands-free shooting.
In terms of portrait photography, this product supports its own developed portrait algorithm. It can automatically recognize faces and optimize skin texture and enhance complexion. The device also supports multiple levels of adjustment for whitening and skin smoothing, making it convenient to directly capture more natural portrait images.

For professional creators, the camera offers a 14-stop dynamic range in the 10-bit I-Log format, native compatibility with the ACES color management standard used in the film industry, and DaVinci color grading workflow, providing more room for post-production work.
In terms of battery life and storage capacity, the Luna Ultra is equipped with a 1550mAh battery, allowing for up to 4 hours of continuous shooting. It also supports fast charging, and can be fully charged to 80% in just 23 minutes.
The camera is equipped with 47GB of built-in storage. Even if you forget to bring an SD card, you can still start shooting at any time. It also supports card insertion for expansion, alleviating the storage anxiety when shooting outside.
