According to reports, this folding screen iPhone V was refitted from the original screen of iPhone X, including removing the cover, removing glue, and other steps, but it took five or six months to waste 36 screens, and it was not until the 37th screen that it was a complete success.
For the hinge part, we first tested two Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4s and found that they did not meet the needs. Then I bought two Motorola Razr. The hinge was separated from the screen and was a teardrop shape after bending, which was very suitable.
In the motherboard part, the components are rearranged, a special FPC flexible cable connection is also customized, and the modeling, material selection, 3D printing, and position adjustment are repeated.
In the software part, there is no sense of inconsistency at the system level, but many apps cannot be used normally, and they have also been transformed, which can split screens, switch between upper and lower screens, and so on.

The modified iPhone V has no problems in daily use. Still, there are also some regrets, such as the battery capacity being only 1100mAh, the screen will be damaged after a few days of use as creases, bubbles, liquid leakage, etc., and the custom cable is not durable enough; it can only be reserved Single-sided speakers, etc.
