Igeekphone News, September 1st: Blogger @Digital Chat Station exposed some specifications of a new mid-range SM8850 (tentatively named Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5) from a certain manufacturer today. It is expected to be the standard version of iQOO 15.
It is reported that this device is equipped with a 2K top-of-the-line Samsung screen, a 100W 7-inch large battery, a 50Mp 1/1.5″ main camera, a 50Mp periscope, wireless charging, and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The large-sized motor and dual speakers are also good. The 6.8-inch straight screen falls into the category of large R corners. Currently, the largest registered size is 16GB+1TB.
iQOO product manager @Golanv previously posted on Weibo, explaining the naming of iQOO 15. He “confirmed” that the next-generation flagship skipped 14 and was directly named iQOO 15.
According to him, the naming of the flagship new phone 15 is not simply a leap of one generation in numbers, but because the iQOO 15 leads the industry by more than one generation in product power, especially in the aspects that users care about most, such as gaming performance, screen display, and dedicated graphics chip.
