It will be the first to release “the industry’s only three light sensors”, achieving full-area light sensing on the front, back and top of the device. Qualcomm officially released the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra chip today, claiming it to be “the world’s fastest mobile CPU”. It continues the 2+6 core architecture, with the frequency of the two Prime cores increased to 4.6GHz and the six performance cores running at 3.62GHz. Compared with the previous generation of products, the CPU performance has increased by 20%, the energy efficiency has improved by 35%, and the overall power consumption has decreased by 16%.
