IQOO Pro 5G: First Real Photo Unveiled by the Product Manager

With a teaser trailer made known in the past few hours, IQOO has officially confirmed the existence of a new 5G smartphone belonging to the top of the range, whose reveal was set by August. Now the new device was unveiled by the Product Manager.

The iQOO Plus 5G was lit up at the event ChinaJoy 2019. The girl in the photo is the product manager of iQOO, and the inscription on the case does not doubt that this iQoo model is equipped with a 5G modem. As you can see, the smartphone will offer an unusual color design of the rear panel and a triple main camera.

Rumors about the existence of this new device have started circulating in recent months, and according to the first rumors, it should be a smartphone designed for mobile gaming.

In addition to supporting the new 5G network, the leaked online features speak of a device equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor, an SoC that is being talked about a lot in the last few days after the company revealed a few weeks ago.

Moreover, it would not be the first gaming smartphone to mount the new processor, as even Asus RoG Phone 2 and Xiaomi Black Shark 2 Pro will enjoy the new SoC. According to the previous leak, the smartphone has 8GB of RAM and a battery with a capacity of 4500mAh and also supports fast charging with a capacity of 44 watts.

Disclosed in the teaser and the price tag of iQOO Plus 5G. In China, it will be sold for 4498 yuan ($654). The smartphone turned out to be somewhat more expensive than the first Vivo iQOO, it is in the highest configuration of memory 12/256 GB, worth 4298 yuan ($625). But on the other hand, it is cheaper than Huawei Mate 20 X 5G, which costs 6199 yuan ($901). The novelty should appear on the market at the end of this or the beginning of the next month.
