According to Chinese tech blogger @Shanfei, the concept device was unveiled on August 14 and was jointly developed with input from iQOO’s enthusiast community. Rather than representing a conventional commercial smartphone, the iQOO X appears to serve as a showcase for technologies and design ideas that could influence the company’s future products.
Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen10 Pro and a Dedicated Gaming Chip
At the heart of the iQOO X is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen10 Pro processor, according to the information presented at the unveiling. The flagship platform is paired with iQOO’s self-developed QX gaming chip, suggesting that the concept phone is heavily focused on high-performance gaming.
The combination is intended to provide substantial processing power while allowing iQOO to further optimize graphics rendering and gaming performance through its own silicon.
If these specifications eventually make their way into a mass-produced smartphone, the iQOO X could represent a significant step toward the company’s long-standing goal of pushing mobile gaming hardware beyond conventional flagship configurations.
Massive 15,000mAh All-Solid-State Battery
Perhaps the most striking feature of the iQOO X is its claimed 15,000mAh all-solid-state Blue Ice battery.

2K+ 240Hz True Full-Screen LTPO Display

The iQOO X is said to feature a true full-screen LTPO 6.0 display with support for a 2K+ resolution and an ultra-high 240Hz refresh rate.
A 240Hz refresh rate would put the concept device well beyond the refresh rates commonly found on today’s flagship smartphones. In gaming applications, the higher refresh rate could potentially provide smoother animations, faster visual feedback and a more responsive experience.
The use of LTPO technology is also important because variable refresh-rate technology can dynamically adjust the refresh rate according to the content being displayed, potentially helping balance smoothness with power consumption.
Achieving a 2K+ resolution and 240Hz refresh rate while simultaneously maintaining reasonable battery efficiency would be a significant engineering challenge, making the display technology one of the most interesting aspects of the iQOO X concept.
Half-Screen Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor
The concept phone is also equipped with a half-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
Unlike conventional under-display fingerprint sensors that are limited to a relatively small recognition area, a half-screen solution could make biometric authentication considerably more flexible. Users would theoretically have a much larger portion of the display available for fingerprint recognition.
