According to Japanese media itmedia reports, Japan Tobacco (JTI) announced on June 29 that it will stop selling its heating and non-combustion device Ploom Tech, while stocks last. Meanwhile, it plans to launch a new brand, WITH, in the summer.
With the termination of Ploom Tech, all six brands of smoke bombs dedicated to the product will be discontinued after December. From the end of August, it will only be available on the “CLUB JT online store”.
The discontinued product is the “Ploom Tech Starter Kit 1.5”, which is white/black/bright green/dark silver. “Ploom Tech Plus Starter Kit 1.5” in modern black/pure white/black/white.
The discontinued brands are “Mevius Regular”, “Mevius Menthol”, “Mevius Purple”, “Mevius Red Cooler”, “Mevius Gold Regular” and “Mevius Gold Menthol”. All brands are exclusive to Ploom Tech.
The design and price of the new product have not yet been fully announced.
