In Cinebench R23, the multi-core score of the Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 is 2676 points, which is not as good as the i7-1165G7 on the Acer TravelMate P6, less than half of the i5-1235U on the Gateway 14 notebook, and far less than the i7-1280P on the XPS 13 Plus.
In Geekbench, the Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 multi-core score is 5845 points, surpassing the i7-1165G7 and i5-1235U, and about 59% of the i7-1280P.
In terms of nuclear display performance, in the 3DMark TimeSpy DX12 test, the Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 scored 916, which is not as good as the 96EU core display of the 11th and 12th generation Core.
In terms of battery life, the Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 shows the advantages of the Arm processor. The Lenovo ThinkPad X13s lasted 18 hours and 23 minutes to play 720p video at 50% brightness, compared with 11 hours and 19 hours for the Gateway 14 notebook equipped with the i5-1235U. The Snapdragon 8cx Gen3 was released at the end of last year, using a 5nm process. Qualcomm’s official website did not give detailed specifications but said that its CPU multitasking performance has increased by up to 85%, GPU performance has increased by up to 60%, and it can support up to 25 hours of battery life on a single charge.
