According to the Yoga Lenovo official news, the Yoga 5G Touch Flip Light Laptop will be released soon.
The Yoga 5G laptop will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8CX Gen 2 5G chip, weighing 1.35kg, coming with a 60Wh battery and coming with a free 5G data package, officials said. Previously, Lenovo said the laptop would be fan-less.
Last September, Qualcomm unveiled its Snapdragon 8CX Gen 25G for PCs, offering better performance and battery life, supporting for 5G connectivity, enterprise-grade security and AI acceleration, as well as advanced camera and audio technologies.
It uses the same 7nm process as its predecessor, the Snapdragon 8CX, and comes with a Snapdragon X55 5G modem, adding Wi-Fi 6 support. The Snapdragon 8CX Gen 2 5G has the same 8 Kryo 495 cores as its predecessor, supporting LPDDR4-2133MHz memory, and supporting NVME SSD and UFS 3.0 storage. Qualcomm does not disclose processor frequency or GPU information on its website, but officials say that the Snapdragon 8CX second-generation 5G computing platform has system-level performance and battery life that are more than 50% better than competing solutions.
