The MJX Bugs 3 was a breath of fresh air. Finally, there was an affordable and versatile ready-to-fly brushless drone that could carry an action camera or just be used to fly faster than its geared brushed motor competitors. Now MJX has built the successor to the popular Bugs 3, and they called it the Bugs 2. MJX have officially launched the MJX Bugs 2, which weirdly enough comes after the extremely successful MJX Bugs 3. The two quadcopter don’t look anything alike though, exception made for the presence of brushless motors on both of them.
The first glimpse of Bugs 2 reminds me of Hubsan H501S series, the landing skids, the arm design and the integrated camera almost looked similar to H501s. The Bugs 2 seems to be a very similar drone, but they added an HD camera, altitude hold, and GPS. MJX Bugs 2 has 410 * 410 * 80mm dimensions, 445g weight, made of plastic material, it has a 2.4G frequency, 6 axis gyro, 4CH channel.
This MJX Bugs 2 is a fantastic aerial photography quadcopter, and it’s equipped with 1080P HD camera and 8GB TF card for you to take photos and record videos. With GPS system and barometer height hold, it is capable of precise hover, and auto return when losing control or low power. It also supports about 15-18 minutes flight time and about 800m control range. he Bugs 2 also sports Altitude Hold mode, One Key Return, many more basic features and it has a control range of about 800 meters with its two-way 2.4GHz connection system.
The MJX Bugs 2 goes on sale at $124.99 after using $60.1 off coupon: HTYMJXBG69 on shopping sites like Tomtop. Considering all the features it packs and MJX’s products renown good built quality we believe that it is definitely a fair price.
