After many rumors about design and technical specifications, a new photo of the Motorola smartphone has now appeared. The Moto Z3 Play moves in the area of upper-middle-class phones. The editors of inside handy present the already known details and credible rumors.
Apart from concept images, which appeared some time ago in the worldwide data network, until recently only a press picture of the coming middle-class model from the house Motorola, the Moto Z3 play, was leaked. Whether or not the smartphone pictured is actually the upcoming Z3 play device has not been known yet. Now, however, this has changed, because even the first not created on the computer photos show a corresponding, albeit slightly modified, optics.
As with the render counterpart, the current device has neither a power button nor a fingerprint sensor placed in it. The rumors that the sensor has been moved to the side of the smartphone, can be confirmed with the new images, however, neither refute – they show only the front and back of the Motorola Moto Z3 Play. It can be seen that the connections that are used to connect the smartphone with the Moto Mods have been changed. Another image that shows the phone when it’s turned on also features the Android version, which will probably be available from the factory: Android 8.1.0 Oreo.
Although official information on the release date has not yet been mentioned, according to the rumor mill, the Moto Z3 Play could already be released in June.
On May 5th, Motorola released a poster. In the interaction under the poster, the product suggested by the poster may be a handle. Among Moto’s products, the Z series with modular accessories are more likely to have a handle.
Side Mounted Fingerprint Sensor
The disappearance of the home button, which usually contains the fingerprint sensor, is striking. A result of trying to make the screen as big as possible. The 6-inch display in 18: 9 format has a FullHD Plus resolution. Apparently, the rumors agree that the fingerprint sensor now wanders to the side of the device, where otherwise usually the volume and power button can be found. The Z3 Play would be the first Motorola smartphone with the sensor on the side of the device.
Dual Camera and 3000mAh Battery
In contrast to the predecessor Z2 Play, Motorola now presents a dual camera, so that the manufacturer follows the current trend towards dual-camera. Rumors speak that it is probably to be two sensors with 12 and 8 megapixels. The camera is in the middle and is set off in a circle. The use of Bluetooth headphones can be bypassed by the 3.5 mm jack. The Moto Mods should be compatible with the Z3 Play. With these extensions, the smartphone can be modified as desired.
The technical specifications have not yet been confirmed. Apparently, the Z3 Play will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. The memory should be expandable via a microSD card. Moto Z3 Play is expected to be equipped with a 6-inch 2,160×1,080 display with a 3,000 mAh battery and Android 8.1 Oreo are considered likely. When the Moto Z3 appears is still unclear, as Motorola has announced for this year new smartphones of the G and E series.
