Qualcomm is expected to unveil its Snapdragon 898 flagship chip sometime around December 1, and this year it looks like MOTOROLA’s newest product, Moto Edge X, will be in the lineup in addition to xiaomi’s Mi 12 series.
Moto Edge X is already ahead of the Mi 12 series, and sources say it’s ready for release.
What’s worth mentioning is that according to the latest news from @digitchat, MOTOROLA will not only introduce this new phone in December, but also bring a snapdragon 888+ chip model, playing a combination brand strategy of dual flagships.
At the same time, the blogger also revealed that the new Snapdragon 888+ flagship will refresh the bottom line of the chip model price, lower than the flagship price during the Double 11 through various preferential subsidies, it can be described as full competitiveness.
Unfortunately, there is no additional information about the configuration.
Some netizens believe that this mysterious new phone can achieve the new price bottom line, or may be an old model of the core version,which is likely to be the cheapest model of the current MOTOROLA Edge S core replacement.
In addition to the Snapdragon 870 chip, MOTOROLA Edge S comes with enhanced LPDDR5 memory +UFS 3.1 flash memory, which also works well with snapdragon 888+.
