Igeekphone News, May 29th: Tech media dronexl published a blog post yesterday (May 28th), sharing a set of photos showcasing DJI’s commercial drone Matrice 400 (referred to as M400).
Mickael Gay, the CEO of Group Actibot, shared this set of photos on his LinkedIn. It can be seen that the M400 drone adopts a carbon fiber frame and integrates an obstacle perception module.
Mickael Gay emphasized on LinkedIn that this drone “has a sturdy fuselage and a LiVOX 360 LiDAR mounted on the top”, providing strong support for users who are passionate about liDAR, mapping and inspection.
The photo also shows a huge single-battery compartment, raising concerns about its safety during long-distance flights. Although the single-battery design simplifies maintenance and reduces weight, the lack of alternative solutions may limit its appeal in tasks that require strict safety guarantees.
