Nubia Executive Director Ni Fei has previously confirmed that the new Nubia Red Magic 5S gaming smartphone will be equipped with a single chip Snapdragon 865+ system and now he shared new details about this upcoming gaming smartphone, which has not yet been officially unveiled.
He has been teasing the features of the handset every day, this time he confirmed that the device will receive a new display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz, a polling rate of the touch layer of 240 Hz and buttons with a polling rate of 320 Hz. All for the sake of minimal delays during the game.
This is the third manufacturer’s gaming smartphone this year. The company previously unveiled Red Magic 5G and Nubia Play 5G. The Nubia Red Magic 5S was expected to receive minor improvements over its predecessors, but the company’s teasers show that the manufacturer has decided to introduce many innovations for the new product.
Earlier it was reported that the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus platform with one Kryo 585 Prime core with a clock frequency of up to 3.1 GHz, three Kryo 585 Gold cores with a frequency of 2.42 GHz and four Kryo 585 cores Silver 1.8GHz.
Apart from this, the Nubia Red Magic 5S is confirmed to come with LPDDRR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The company said it has optimized its Magic Write fast read and write technology to improve the overall performance of the device. Besides, it will feature a unique silver cooling system.
