Nubia Red Magic 6 will be launched soon. It is a replacement for the Nubia Red Magic 5s launched last year. To this day, it is not yet known when the official presentation will take place, but it is expected for the first quarter of this year 2021. The upcoming Nubia Red Magic 6 will arrive with enhanced features designed to offer the best possible performance for mobile games.
One of the main built-in features that the future Red Magic 6 will enjoy is that it will feature a high-end cooling system. Today, the brand manager of Nubia Ni Fei took to his account on the Weibo social network to reveal that the terminal will arrive with a completely renewed cooling system.
Ni Fei revealed that the phone will feature a “hardened” fan. In addition, it will have a nine-axis spatial sensor that will serve to track the movement of the phone in multiple directions. The Nubia executive also shared a video showing the device “floating in midair.” Of course, the teasers do not come to tell us that the Red Magic 6 will literally float in the air, but rather it is used to show the operation of the cooling system.
Earlier on Tuesday, Ni Fei also has confirmed that he will introduce “cutting-edge” heat dissipation technology to control the heating of the powerful main core of the Snapdragon 888 chip, a processor that equips Red Magic 6 and its exclusive version produced in partnership with Tencent.
In addition to maintaining controlled temperatures on the chipset, the continuous operation of the new internal cooling system will allow for much better performance under sustained high workloads for many hours. The internal fan could even come in handy to keep the device cool while charging. This will be much needed, as the future Red Magic 6 is said to make use of 120W ultra-fast wired charging technology.
So far Nubia has not revealed great details about the new models in the Red Magic line, but we already know that there are at least three models planned: Red Magic 6, Red Magic 6 Pro, and the Tencent Edition. The manufacturer confirmed that the Red Magic 6 Pro will arrive with a 4500mAh battery, 120W fast charging (66W for the Red Magic 6), a screen with a high refresh rate of up to 144 Hz, and, of course, Snapdragon 888 5G chip.
There are indications that the Pro model may arrive with electrochromic glass on the back cover, allowing users to switch between clear and fully black glass. More details about the entire Red Magic 6 line are expected to emerge in the coming days.
