According to Mspoweruser, OnePlus has no plans to release a new phone this month, but it appears OnePlus is ready to bring OnePlus 9RT and OnePlus Buds Z2 to India. Source Mukul Sharma recently found support pages for OnePlus 9RT and OnePlus Buds Z2 on the OnePlus India website, a significant hint that both products are expected to make their debut in India in a few days.
OnePlus 9RT was supposed to be limited to India and China, but the company has yet to bring it to India. The OnePlus 9 RT and Buds Z2 were originally launched in the Chinese market in October this year, which are the successor and new headset products of the OnePlus 9R.
There seems to be some confusion about the official name of the new OnePlus phone. While it is known as OnePlus 9RT in the Chinese market, the company is rumored to use a different name for the same phone in India. There are rumors that the smartphone may be called the OnePlus RT in India.
Meanwhile, OnePlus will reportedly show off its new flagship phone, OnePlus 10 Pro, on January 5. The flagship phone is expected to debut in China first.
OnePlus 9RT comes with a Snapdragon 888 chip, Samsung E4 AMOLED display, UFS 3.1 storage, SONY IMX766 sensor, 4500mAh battery, 65W quick charging, USB-C, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, under-screen fingerprint reader, Bluetooth 5.2. The smartphone has a 50-megapixel main camera, a 16-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The rear camera can record 4K video at 60 frames, while the front camera can record 1080p video at 30 frames.
