Igeekphone reported on November 10th that previously, a netizen captured the packaging box of the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max at the airport. Many netizens believe that this is the new Snapdragon 8 Gen5 device that OnePlus is about to launch.
The blogger Digital Chat Station stated that the new OnePlus Snapdragon 8 Gen5 device is not called Ace 6 Pro Max, but is named Ace 6T. Here, the “T” does not refer to Turbo, but represents OnePlus’ pure performance genes. The Turbo series of OnePlus is also on the way.
Compared with the OnePlus Ace 6, the processor of the OnePlus Ace 6T has been changed from Snapdragon 8 Elite to Snapdragon 8 Gen5, and its battery capacity has exceeded 8000mAh. It will also bring cool collaborations.

The blogger also revealed that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen5 chip will be officially released at the end of this month, and the new device is expected to make its debut in December.
It is reported that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen5 was jointly defined by OnePlus and Qualcomm. This chip adopts TSMC’s 3nm process (N3P) manufacturing process, is equipped with an Oryon CPU consisting of 2*3.8GHz super-large cores and 6*3.32GHz large cores, and integrates an Adreno 840 GPU.
In terms of benchmarking, the Antutu total score of the Snapdragon 8 Gen5 exceeded 3.3 million points, with a single-core score of 3,000 and a multi-core score of 10,000 on Geekbench 6. Its CPU performance is basically on par with that of the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
In addition to OnePlus, brands such as vivo, iQOO, moto, and Meizu will also use the Snapdragon 8 Gen5 chip in the future.
