Last December, Mediatek Dimensity 9000 flagship processor released, performance and Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 basically in the same level, at the same time, Mediatek also prepared the second flagship Dimensity 8000 series, including Dimensity 8100, Dimensity 8000, specifications are basically the same, the former is the high-frequency version.
It has been reported that Dimensity 8000 series phones will be released next month, RealMe, Redmi and other manufacturers have related products.
Today, digital blogger @digital Chat station revealed that OnePlus will launch a new phone with a Dimensity 8100 processor.
In terms of core configuration, the new phone uses a 6.8-inch FHD+120Hz OLED straight screen, a center single-hole scheme, a rear 50 megapixel SONY IMX766 main camera, a built-in 4500mAh dual-cell battery, and a possible 150W quick charge scheme.
Data shows that SONY IMX766 has been applied to Mi 12, which is a flagship sensor with a large base, 50 million high pixels, 1/1.56 inch base, four pixels in one, the equivalent single pixel sensor size reached 2μm.
It is worth mentioning that the blogger previously revealed Dimensity 8100 prototype test results, according to the introduction, the chip “prototype test GFX ES3.0 170FPS ±, and the result is similar to snapdragon 888/ Kirin 9000. TSMC N5 has four core A78, level 3 cache is 4MB like Snapdragon 888, LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 support.

In terms of parameters, Dimensity 8100 uses TSMC 5nm process and consists of four Cortex A78 large cores with CPU frequency of 2.85ghz and four Cortex A55 small cores with CPU frequency of 2.0ghz, G610 MC6 GPU.
