Last month, Oppo unveiled the F17 Pro in India and now he is going to release a special edition of the smartphone in the country on October 19, which will be called the Oppo F17 Pro Diwali Edition.

The company has not yet revealed the price of this special edition of the F17 Pro, but today the Indian branch posted a Teaser (poster) of the device on Twitter, revealing that the Diwali version will come in Matte Gold color to match the atmosphere of the Diwali Festival.

An additional poster posted by Oppo on its official website in India gives us a better look at the back of the Diwali Edition, which does not have vertical stripe-like other color variations, but instead is a gold and aqua gradient.

Specifications

The new F17 Pro Diwali Edition will likely have the same features as the regular model and will feature a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P95 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM. Oppo has provided 128GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card.

It also comes with a quad rear camera setup that is highlighted as a 48MP primary sensor. The phone features a dual selfie camera setup that houses a 16MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The phone packs a 4,015mAh battery that supports 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 and it will run ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10 out of the box but will be able to upgrade immediately to the new ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 and recently released.

The Oppo F17 Pro is currently available in Matte Black, Magic Blue, and Metallic White with a price of 22,990 INR ($315), so we expect that the new Diwali version will have the same price.
