OPPO has confirmed another standout camera feature for its upcoming Find X10 Pro Max. The flagship will reportedly use three 200MP cameras, with all three sensors supporting Open Gate video recording for full-frame video capture.
The new camera capability was announced shortly before the official OPPO Find X10 series launch in China. OPPO is scheduled to unveil the new lineup at 7:00 PM on September 22, with the Find X10 Pro Max expected to be one of the key models at the event.
Three 200MP Cameras Support Open Gate Recording
According to OPPO, the Find X10 Pro Max will support 8K Log video recording across its full focal-length range. The company says this format can preserve more image detail and provide greater flexibility during color grading and post-production.
The Open Gate feature gives the phone a more flexible mobile video recording workflow, especially for creators who need to produce both horizontal and vertical content.
The phone’s three 200MP camera sensors will also support Open Gate recording. Unlike conventional video formats that use a cropped portion of the sensor, Open Gate recording can make use of a larger area of the imaging sensor.
This gives creators greater flexibility when shooting in different orientations. Footage can be reframed for horizontal or vertical compositions during editing, potentially reducing the need to decide on the final format while recording.
KHRONOS Camera Accessories Expand the Shooting Setup
OPPO is also preparing a professional photography accessory ecosystem for the Find X10 Pro Max.
The company says the phone will work with KHRONOS professional expansion accessories, including Hasselblad teleconverters, ND filters, and follow-focus handles.
These accessories are designed to give users more control over focal length, exposure, and focus during more demanding photography and video-production scenarios.
Dimensity 9600 Pro Chip Confirmed
The camera system is not the only major feature OPPO has confirmed for the Find X10 Pro Max.
At MediaTek’s 2026 Dimensity flagship launch event on September 15, OPPO Vice President Wu Henggang announced that the Find X10 Pro Max would be among the first smartphones to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro flagship processor.
The chip is expected to serve as the core platform for the upcoming flagship, although OPPO has yet to reveal the complete hardware specifications of the phone.

The OPPO Find X10 series is scheduled to officially launch on September 22 at 7:00 PM.
OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is shaping up as a camera-focused flagship, combining three 200MP cameras with Open Gate full-frame video recording and 8K Log video capabilities. OPPO is also promoting professional KHRONOS accessories, while the phone is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 9600 Pro platform.
