Leaked Oppo Reno specifications have emerged for the past month. Smartphone with 10x optical zoom camera technology is rumored to be sliding next April 10. However, before it was officially introduced, on the internet a screenshot was circulated from the pages of the Chinese mobile certification body, TENAA, which contained the full specifications of Oppo Reno along with photographs.
The certification page confirms allegations that previously circulated, namely Oppo Reno will be available in two variants based on the type of the chipset. The upscale variant of the Oppo Reno is powered by a Snapdragon 855 chip, while other variants that seem to target the middle segment rely on Snapdragon 710.
Previously, Oppo Reno had received Bluetooth certification listed on the Singapore mobile certification site, IMDA. On the site, Oppo Reno carries the CPH1917 code and is registered using the Snapdragon 710 chip.
Now on the TENAA website, Oppo Reno, which carries the name PCAT00 / PCAM00, includes specifications similar to the CPH1917 model, the Oppo Reno Snapdragon 710 chip variant.
Further specifications for Oppo Reno on the TENAA website page a 6.4-inch screen made from AMOLED, HD + resolution (2,340 x 1,080 pixels) with dimensions of 156,6 x 74,3 x 9 mm. The Oppo Reno screen is also said to be having no bangs, as well as carrying fingerprint scanner technology on the screen.
From Gizmo China on Monday (1/4/2019), the hardware specifications listed include a 2.2 GHz CPU (Snapdragon 710 version), a dual rear camera with a resolution of 48MP and 5MP. The camera is a 16MP resolution pop-up mechanism that is unique, which pops up on only one side so that it is triangular, with LED flash.
The RAM carried with a capacity of 6GB with 128GB of internal storage. There is also an 8GB RAM model with 256GB of storage. Reportedly also, the 10 “zoom periscope” camera made by Oppo will debut at Oppo Reno. This periscope zoom camera is likely to be the third camera on the Oppo Reno back, in addition to the 48MP and 5MP camera.
The Oppo Reno Snapdragon 710 variant has a capacity of 4065 which is equipped with a fast refill feature, VOOC 3.0. In terms of software, Oppo Reno carries the Android 9 Pie operating system, with the ColorOS 6.0 interface.
The official poster map shows that the first batch of Reno series listed is foggy sea green, black night, blue and nebula purple. More information about Reno will be announced on April 10th, and we will follow up.
