Philip Morris Japan announced that it has updated the design of its integrated tobacco heating device “IQOS ILUMA i One” and it will be available in IQOS offline stores and online stores starting from October 29. This update makes adjustments in appearance and materials, including the adoption of a brand-new button design and the replacement of plastic components at the bottom of the body with aluminum materials.
The report indicates that the new “IQOS ILUMA i One” continues the key usage features of the previous model, such as automatic start-up and the ability to continuously use approximately 20 cartridges, etc., but the accessories are not compatible with those of the old model. The official offers four body colors: Digital Purple, Breeze Blue, Midnight Black and Leaf Green. The price tag in the Japanese market is 3,980 yen (approximately 25 US dollars).
According to a previous report by 2Firsts, when PMI Korea launched “IQOS ILUMA i One”, it was priced at 59,000 won (approximately 45 US dollars).
