A few weeks ago the Oppo‘s sub-brand Realme has officially announced a series of smartphones for the European market, including the new Realme X2 Pro and Realme 5 Pro. Now, however, the company must carry these devices also for the Indian market and for this reason has set an official presentation event for November 20th. Apparently, though, another device, known as Realme 5s, will also arrive during this event.
Realme 5s will, therefore, be another device of the new smartphone family of the Chinese company. To confirm its launching date for the Indian market was the well-known online Flipkart store. On the latter, in fact, there is a section where there is explicitly written “Presenting Realme 5s 48MP quad-camera Powerhouse.
We can see in the advertisement that the Realme 5S integrates 4 cameras, including a 48MP main sensor, with a fingerprint reader on the back. Features comparable to the Redmi Note 8T.
This new terminal had already been talked about a few weeks ago online. Specifically, the company’s mid-range future had received several certifications, such as the NBTC and BIS certification, and on the latter had been registered with the Realme RMX1925 model number. However, important information regarding the probable technical specifications has not been leaked from the certifications in question.
Realme 5s should be in practice a slightly less powerful version of the current Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro, so we expect some inferior features compared to these models. We remind you that the current Realme 5 has a 6.5 inch IPS LCD display and that the performance is entrusted to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 processor. As for the Pro version, instead, we find a Snapdragon 710 processor.
Unfortunately, no other features have been unveiled for this smartphone. It will be necessary to wait until November 20 to know everything about the Realme 5S.
