The Realme GT 5G, which was announced in China in March, has finally made its global debut. It offers nearly all the features one would expect from a flagship Android phone in 2021 — including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, 5G connectivity, and a 120Hz AMOLED display and promises to win the European consumer for its price.
As for the equipment is an identical copy of the Chinese version, and we can only repeat all the main parameters. The phone’s display is Super AMOLED, it has a diagonal of 6.43 inches and a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. The aspect ratio is 20: 9 and the refresh rate is 120 Hz.
The screen supports HDR10 +, 98% NTSC color gamut, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The usable area is 91.7%. The fingerprint sensor is also stored on the screen. Realme GT is equipped with a Snapdragon 888 processor. It is paired with 8/12GB of LPDDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The ability to expand internal memory is missing.
The front camera has 16MP and an aperture of f / 2.5. The main camera is triple. It consists of a 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor with an aperture of f / 1.89, an 8MP wide-angle sensor with an aperture of 119°, and an aperture of f / 2.3, and a 2MP macro lens with an aperture of f / 2.4. The phone in the basic silver or blue variant has dimensions of 158.5 x 73.3 x 8.4 mm and 186 g weight, but a yellow version covered with vegan leather with a thickness of 9.1 mm and 186.5 grams weight is available.
The battery has a capacity of 4500mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 65W. As a result, charging from zero to 100% takes approximately 35 minutes. The phone is also equipped with liquid cooling, which effectively reduces the temperature when playing games by up to 15 degrees.
In terms of connectivity, there is 5G SA / NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6e 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS, USB-C, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. You can also enjoy stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, for example. Realme GT runs on Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0.
But now for the friendlier, because the European prices are set very interesting due to the equipment of the phone. The Realme GT Global Version will officially go on sale on June 28 and prices are set at 449 euros (8GB + 128GB) and 599 euros (12GB + 256GB).
This in itself is very decent, but the company has prepared special promotions for the release. The lower version is 21-21. June will sell at Aliexpress for only 369 euros and higher than 22-25. June on Amazon for 499 euros. It comes in three color options: Dashing Blue, Racing Yellow, and Dashing Silver.
