Sub-brand OPPO Realme continues to reveal the features of its first flagship smartphone X2 Pro. The company published a poster according to which the device will be equipped with a 4000mAh battery with support for proprietary SuperVOOC 50 W fast charging.
It will be able to charge the battery to 100% in just 35 minutes. This is an excellent result, although the OPPO Reno Ace introduced yesterday charges the same battery even faster. Besides, the 12GB RAM and 256GB memory version will be released in the European and Chinese markets.
The 12GB RAM version and 256GB memory may be the highest memory version of the Realme X2 Pro smartphone. It is still unclear whether the phone will be released in lower models such as 8GB RAM and 128GB capacity or 6GB RAM and 64GB capacity.
In particular, Realme X2 Pro will be equipped with the latest UFS 3.0 storage standard. Compared to the previous generation, UFS 3.0 delivers 80% faster read speed. It will have LPDDR4X RAM, Snapdragon 855+ chipset and a clock speed of up to 2.96 GHz.
The Realme X2 Pro will come with a 6.5-inch AMOLED waterdrop screen, with Full HD + 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. Interestingly, however, the X2 Pro’s screen will be supported with a 90Hz refresh rate and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The company has confidently stated that this sensor can help unlock the device in just 0.23 seconds.
On the front, the phone is equipped with a 16MP camera. On the back, Realme X2 Pro features a quad-camera system with 64MP main camera, 13MP ultra-wide lens with 115-degree viewing angle, 8MP telephoto lens, and 2MP depth support lens. The Realme X2 Pro retains the old 3.5mm audio jack. The phone will run the Android 9 Pie operating system based on the latest ColorOS 6.
For the price, recently in replying to user comments, Product Director of Realme Wang Wei Derek suggested that the phone could be priced at 4000 yuan (about $560). The Realme X2 Pro will officially arrive in Beijing at 10 am on October 15. So, we should wait to know further about it.
