Xiaomi’s overseas official website recently launched Redmi Buds 4 Active wireless earbuds, which make a number of improvements on the basis of Redmi Buds 4 Standard edition released previously.
Redmi Buds 4 Active Comes with a 12mm large moving-coil unit, an upgrade from the standard version’s 10mm. The headphones also support active noise cancellation and are rated IPX4 (standard version IPX 5) for water resistance.
Redmi Buds 4 Active has a larger earbud volume and a rounder charging case that provides up to 28 hours of battery life and up to 5 hours of playback time on a single charge of the earbuds themselves.
Redmi Buds 4 Active also supports fast charging, with a 10-minute charge for 2 hours of playback time. The headset supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and Google Quick pairing, and supports multiple touch operations, including double, triple and long presses.
According to the website of Igeekphone, Redmi Buds 4 Active weighs 42g together with a charging case with a 440mAh battery. The headset, which supports the SBC codec, is available only in black, and no release date or price has been announced.
