Take the popular small-sized tablet like iPad mini as an example. It still uses a 60Hz screen to this day, and different products have completely different positioning tracks.
Jiang Chao said that previously, many mobile game players had reported that they wanted a small-sized tablet, but it was often difficult to achieve both high refresh rate and portability at the same time.
It was precisely because they recognized the real pain points of the players that Red Devil decided to create a small-sized gaming tablet.

It is introduced that the Red Magic Gaming Tablet 5 Pro will be the first in the industry to feature a 185Hz ultra-high refresh rate small-sized screen, further raising the gaming experience standard for small-sized tablets.
Jiang Chao stated that 185Hz is not just a theoretical figure. In actual gameplay, the difference is visible to the naked eye. A higher refresh rate means the screen refreshes more quickly, allowing players to react faster in scenarios such as shooting, aiming, and positioning. In mobile game competitions, it often comes down to a fraction of a second in terms of reaction time.
Currently, more than 20 popular mobile games such as “CF Mobile”, “Sunrise Heroes”, and “Rhythm Master” have completed the 185Hz dedicated high-refresh rate adaptation.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Game Tablet 5 Pro also supports backward compatibility with high refresh rate experiences such as 165Hz, 144Hz, and 120Hz, making it suitable for various gaming scenarios.
In terms of performance, the Red Magic gaming tablet 5 Pro will be equipped with the 5th-generation Snapdragon 8 Supreme Edition chip and will support both air cooling and liquid cooling for dual heat dissipation. This will help lower the temperature of the device during long gaming sessions, reducing issues such as frequency reduction and lag caused by overheating.
