iGEEKPHONE News, July 15th: The REDMI K100 series will have an unprecedented leap forward this year. It will be officially released in August, ahead of the big brother, the Xiaomi 18 series.
It is worth noting that this year, the product plan for the K100 series has been adjusted again. The large-capacity model has returned, and it is expected to be named K100 Pro.
According to blogger Digital chat Station, the new device adopts a medium-sized design, likely around 6.59 inches. It features a flagship-level large R-corner design, a 185Hz ultra-fast display, a super pixel solution, and achieves 2K clarity with 1K power consumption.

The core component adopts the Snapdragon 8E5 flagship dual-core processor, and is equipped with an 8500mAh large battery, supporting 100W fast charging and wireless charging.
The imaging performance has also been improved, featuring a 20-megapixel main camera with a large sensor area along with a 50-megapixel telephoto macro lens.
In other aspects, there are integrated symmetrical speakers, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition, and support for IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance.
Furthermore, it was previously reported that the K100 series also fully matched Apple in terms of appearance craftsmanship. The metal frame and glass back panel adopted the same color scheme, making the overall integration of the device stronger. Of course, the cost would also be higher.
As for the price, in the context of the industry as a whole, the price increase for the K100 series is inevitable. However, it has been reported that the increase will be lower than that of similar competing products.
